I’m Paralyzed By My Deafening White Silence

I’ve seen a lot of folks calling out white people on social media — rightfully so — to do something. In the years prior I would fiercely advocate for the lives of black and brown folks. I’d write to politicians, post on social media, join anti-racism groups, fighting systemic racism where I saw it (mostly at work). And it was a calling that still aligns with my values intimately.
